Latest Liverpool news: Players train with Tottenham clash on the horizon
Liverpool had several players away on international duty but some remained to continue their training ahead of the clash against Tottenham.
The Reds know that they need to keep winning if they want to lift the Premier League. Manchester City trail us by two points but they have played one game less so far.
One man who will have to be at his best is Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian hasn’t scored recently, but he has looked good in several games, and this could be the tie that unleashes the best of the forward.
Salah looked pretty relaxed ahead of the game, and we need him to be at his best.
Adam Lallana has returned to the club at the right time, and it will be interesting to see if he starts.
Daniel Sturridge could get some minutes off the bench against Spurs, and he seemed to be enjoying training with another young striker, Rhian Brewster.
The English striker hasn’t had a great time with injuries in recent years, but he seems to be getting back to his best.
Injured stars returning
Jurgen Klopp had spoken about Trent Alexander-Arnold being a doubt for the clash, but the defender was pictured in training earlier.
Naby Keita was another player carrying a minor knock, and it seems he has recovered from the problem too.
One Englishman had a crazy game against Fulham the last time around as James Milner led to us conceding the goal, but he did score the winner from the spot.
