Liverpool FC transfer news: Loris Karius could be replaced by Fabri at Besiktas
Turkish outlet Fotospot (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Besiktas could try to re-sign former keeper Fabri in the summer.
The Spaniard joined Fulham at the start of the season, but the report claims that the keeper will seek a move away from London should the Cottagers get relegated.
That seems a certainty as Fulham are 13 points from safety with just seven games left in the Premier League.
The report carries further bad news for Loris Karius as Fabri is expected to replace the German as Besiktas’ first-choice keeper.
More trouble for Karius?
The German joined the Turkish giants on a two-year loan deal in the summer. Liverpool signed Alisson from AS Roma for a then world-record fee and Simon Mignolet was made our second choice keeper.
Karius hasn’t had a great time in Turkey with some glaring errors for the team. The German was also criticised by his manager recently and the player was contemplating legal action against the Turks over unpaid wages.
Fulham look set for the relegation zone and Fabri moving back to Besiktas would be a problem for Karius.
The German needs to play regular football as he is only 25 and can develop into a decent keeper. Hopefully, the former Mainz star finds the right club in the summer, should his Besiktas loan deal come to an end.

Karius has shown glimpses of quality during his spell at Anfield, but those have been matched by some high-profile errors that have cost the team big.
