Latest Liverpool news: Joe Gomez returns to training for Liverpool as recovery continues
Joe Gomez was possibly in the form of his life before his lower leg fracture against Burnley in December.
The English defender missed a chunk of the season and his return was delayed after he had to undergo surgery to help heal his problem.
The centre-back formed a great partnership alongside Virgil van Dijk and is one reason why we have had such a great defence this season.
The 21-year-old is making his return to the first-team slowly, and Jurgen Klopp recently confirmed that Gomez is back in training too.

Timely return for the Englishman
Gomez returning to the first-team will be a major boost for Liverpool in the remainder of the season. The Reds were a little thin when it came to fit centre-backs at one stage of the campaign with Fabinho slotting in.
The Englishman can also give Trent Alexander-Arnold a break and take up the right-back’s role.
Liverpool have some crunch ties coming up in their Premier League quest and one of the tougher games is against Tottenham on Sunday.
The Reds also play Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals later on and it will be interesting to see when Gomez would be ready for some first-team minutes.
