Latest Liverpool news: Liverpool fans don’t want Richarlison at club
Liverpool were incredibly linked with Everton forward Richarlison after Brazilian reports claimed that the player’s agent visited Jurgen Klopp.
The Brazilian has scored 13 goals for Marco Silva’s team this season and has been one of the best finds since joining Watford.
The 21-year-old responded to the rumours by claiming that he was happy (h/t Liverpool Echo), and Everton too came out suggesting that the attacker is not for sale.
Richarlison doing his bit for the Toffees
Everton haven’t had much to cheer about this season as they have struggled in patches under Silva. They lie 10th in the league but Richarlison has been one of the bright sparks for them this season.
He has 12 goals in the league alone and has even played for the Brazil national side in the recent international break.
The Reds have one of the best attacks in the Premier League and could do with more competition/cover for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge haven’t extremely well this season, though the Belgian attacker has scored some precious goals.
Xherdan Shaqiri was a summer signing but hasn’t been seen much in the second half of the campaign.
However, many Liverpool fans did not want the Everton forward anywhere near the current side. Jurgen Klopp has created something wonderful since taking over four years ago, and the fans certainly made their voices heard regarding Richarlison’s rumoured move to Anfield.
Not a fan of Liverpool being linked with Richarlison, even if it would cause The Ev to self-destruct with rage.
I don’t think he’s good enough, first and foremost.#LFC #EFC

Richarlison is no where near good enough

Why would we be in the market for #Richarlison? Doesn’t suit us at all. Nonsense. #LFC

I think we’ve spent what we needed to, the only way we’d spend big again would be for a marquee signing, Richarlison isn’t that

I would be amazed if the Richarlison to Liverpool rumours were true. Surely it can’t be anything other then BS? I’d be inclined to think a return for Fekir is more likely (and that ain’t happening either👍) #LFC 🔴⚽️
