Latest Liverpool transfer news: Reds interested in Ajax star David Neres
Liverpool are interested in Ajax attacker David Neres, according to French outlet Le10 Sport (h/t Express).
The Brazilian has been another star for the impressive Dutch side this season and has bagged 10 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
The 22-year-old can play in several attacking positions and even recently played for the national side against the Czech Republic.
The French publication (h/t Express) claims that Liverpool could rival Paris Saint-Germain for his signature. The report further adds that Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the 22-year-old and have submitted an offer of £40million.
The Brazilian attacker has been in great form with six goals in his last seven games for Ajax.
Ajax have some quality players in the team
The Dutch side have performed extremely well this season and dumped Real Madrid out of the Champions League.
Neres was on the score sheet in the 4-1 win in Spain and saw great performances from Matthijs de Light, Frenkie de Jong, Dusan Tadic and Hakim Ziyech.
Liverpool have done extremely well under Jurgen Klopp but we could do with another quality winger in the team.
Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge coming off the bench and playing out wide doesn’t always work out, but you cannot question their effort.
Neres can play on either side of the attack and has even starred as a central attacking midfielder this season for the Dutch giants.
