Liverpool FC transfer news: Sadio Mane has to make first move for Real Madrid transfer
Real Madrid are interested in Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane but El Confidencial (h/t Daily Star) reports that the La Liga giants will not pursue a deal until the Senegal star tells the Reds he wants to leave.
Mane has been in excellent form this season with 20 goals in all competitions and kept finding the back of the net as Mohamed Salah went on a barren spell.
The report adds that Zinedine Zidane is an admirer of the 27-year-old Senegal attacker and has a transfer list of some high profile targets.
Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba, Luka Jovic and Adrien Rabiot are all targets for Zidane as he looks to turn things around at Madrid, according to the report.
Mane has no wish of leaving Liverpool
The report adds that Mane seems happy at Anfield and has not indicated that he wants to leave the club.
The former Southampton man has helped the Reds to the first position in the Premier League. The Reds also hold a 2-0 lead in the first leg quarter-final clash against Porto in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp has built something special at Liverpool and Mane has been a star alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
