Turkish reports (h/t Wales Online) claim that Liverpool are in negotiations to sign 19-year-old Abdulkadir Omur.
The Turkish sensation is highly rated in his native country and has been decent for Trabzonspor. The attacking midfielder has racked up four goals and has seven assists to his name from 26 league games this season.
The report claims that Liverpool have submitted an £18m bid for the 19-year-old, but the Turkish giants want more from the Reds.
Manchester United are also interested in the Turkish youngster, but Omur spoke very highly of Liverpool, according to the report.
The youngster spoke earlier regarding the rumours of leaving the Turkish club and was quoted by Turkish Football as saying (h/t Wales Online
):“Liverpool are a great club, one of the greatest in the world. These offers are something Trabzonspor need to discuss.
“If the club give the go ahead talks can be held. The clubs interests take precedence.”
Omur added that he would do whatever Trabzonspor told him to, and his dream was to play in Europe. That dream would come true at Liverpool as the Reds will play Champions League football next season.
Omur is an incredible talent and it will be interesting to see if he is on the move in the summer.
The Reds have been fantastic all season long and could win the Premier League on the final day of the season.
