Latest Liverpool news: Several fans want Julian Brandt to join Liverpool
Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt is one of the brightest talents currently in the Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old attacker has formed a fantastic partnership with Leon Bailey and Kai Havertz at the German club, and they have a chance of finishing in the Champions League spots this season.
Raphael Honigstein wrote for ESPN on the next batch of German superstars and where their futures lie.
The football expert touched upon Timo Werner, Havertz and Brandt, and claimed that the Reds are one of the clubs most likely to sign Brandt.
Competition from Germany for Brandt
The report adds that Borussia Dortmund are also likely candidates to sign the 23-year-old winger.
Brandt would be available on the cheap too as the German has a release clause of €25m, according to the report, and is free to choose his next destination.
The 23-year-old has scored six times in the Bundesliga and has 11 assists to his name, while he has racked up five appearances for Germany in the Nations League and the World Cup.
The German could become the next big thing at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and several Liverpool fans wanted the club to sign Brandt in the summer.

Dortmund signed Thorgan Hazard. Could this mean Brandt is coming to Anfield? Tremendous talent but lacks a bit of pace. Maybe play him as a 10, definitely not quick enough for wing in the EPL!
