Liverpool FC transfer news: Domenico Berardi wants move to Liverpool
Sassuolo and Italy star Domenico Berardi is open to leaving his current side and prefers a move to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old Italy international has racked up 9 goals and 4 assists for the Serie A side this season. Berardi is an attacking midfielder who can play out wide or as the centre-forward.
The Express claims that Jurgen Klopp is likely to add players to the squad after missing out on the Premier League title.
The Reds are reliant on the front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, and Berardi told Gazzetta dello Sport he is ready for a move away from Sassuolo (h/t Express):
“If an offer arrives, be it from Milan or another club, I will evaluate it with my club.
“And if I hear that it is the right proposal, to be taken on the fly, this time I will say to Sassuolo: ‘I’ll take it’. Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool.”
The Italian added that he wants to play for a club challenging in Europe, as long as he is given chances on the pitch.
The Reds don’t have a lot of attacking midfielders in the team currently and Berardi could provide us with a different element should we sign him.
Klopp has improved the side in each season
The German has done a wonderful job in each season, taking Liverpool to a higher level.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has been excellent with transfers and has transformed the side since taking over nearly four years ago.

The Reds were extremely busy in the previous summer window, and it will be interesting to see who we could move for once the Champions League final is done.
