Latest Liverpool news: Reds confirm free public transportation for fans with tickets
Liverpool confirmed that supporters who have purchased tickets for the Champions League final directly from either club will receive a travel pass for Madrid.
The release adds that the free pass can be used in the Madrid metro system between 5 AM on June 1 to 5 AM on 2 June.
The Reds face Tottenham in the final at the Wanda Metropolitano and the release adds that supporters can use the passes to travel around Madrid during the time period for free.
Liverpool and Tottenham have worked with UEFA on the passes and the release claims that fans will be contacted on how to collect them.
Reds looking for their first trophy under Klopp
Liverpool were excellent this season in the Premier League but missed out on the title by one point. They finished second to Manchester City despite amassing 97 points in the league, and lost just one game.
The Champions League has been a great story with the Reds recording wins over PSG, Napoli, Porto, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
The Reds haven’t won a trophy under Jurgen Klopp despite reaching three finals prior to this and hopefully, that stat changes on June 1.
