Latest Liverpool news: Liverpool fans want Memphis Depay to join Georginio Wijnaldum at Anfield
Memphis Depay did not have a great time at Manchester United after signing from PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutch attacker struggled to find his feet at the club and was shipped off to Lyon, where he has done extremely well.
The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists for the Ligue 1 side this season, and recently tweeted a picture of his former days at PSV with Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Liverpool midfielder has had an excellent season and should be a part of the squad in the Champions League final against Tottenham.
Wijnaldum and Depay seem to have developed a great friendship from their time at PSV, and some Liverpool fans picked up on that.
Major throwback with my brother @GWijnaldum. You’re doing the nation proud Young King!

Liverpool tracked Depay recently
French publication Mercato 365 (h/t Express) claims that Liverpool watched the Dutch attacker recently and the Reds have been linked with a move for the 25-year-old (h/t Express).
The 25-year-old can play in several positions up top and it will be interesting to see if he is on the move once the season is over.
The pair should also be a part of the Netherlands national side for the UEFA Nations League finals, and they could pick up an international trophy too.
Several Liverpool fans commented on Depay’s tweet and were open to him joining Wijnaldum at Anfield.
