Latest Liverpool transfer news: Barcelona tracking striker Divock Origi
Mundo Deportivo (h/t Sun) reports that Barcelona are looking to add more goals to their side. The Catalans won La Liga but were dumped out of the Champions League by Liverpool.
The Reds defeated Barca 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final clash and one player is on their radars. The Spanish report claims that Divock Origi is being linked with a move to the Catalan side.
The report adds that Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Llorente are also a subject of interest from the newly crowned champions.
Origi doing the business for the Reds this season
Origi’s run this season has come as a bit of a surprise given his struggles with Wolfsburg in his loan spell.
The Belgian scored the winner against Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield, and that got the ball rolling for him. The 24-year-old also scored the winner against Newcastle United and bagged a brace in the 4-0 hammering of Barcelona.
Origi has been great coming off the bench and is willing to play in the wide positions too. The former Lille striker seems to have improved with each game this season, and it will be interesting to see if we sell him in the transfer window.

The 24-year-old has done a great job replacing Roberto Firmino for the final games of the campaign and could improve further in the upcoming campaign.
