“There is nothing true about it” – Liverpool fans can rest easy as Klopp rubbishes links with European giants

Latest Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp rubbishes rumours of him joining Juventus

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has rubbished rumours of him taking over Italian giants Juventus.

Reports from Italy (h/t Liverpool Echo) claimed that the Serie A champions were trying to secure the services of Klopp despite the German having a contract with Liverpool until 2022.

The German has led us to a second successive Champions League final and only missed out on the Premier League title by one point despite losing just one game in the league this season.

Klopp responded to the rumours in typical fashion and committed his future to the Reds while speaking to Sky Italia (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“Of course it’s a league that I like, it’s really exciting but all these rumours I hear about Juventus are bull****.

“There is nothing true about it. I am not going to leave Liverpool. I know Serie A very well, I follow it and I like it, but I am going to stay at Liverpool.”

Klopp doing a fantastic job at Liverpool

The German has improved this team every season he has been in charge and we have the chance of winning our first trophy under him on Saturday.

Liverpool have lost three finals under Klopp so far but we go into the clash against Tottenham as slight favourites given our wins over Spurs in the league this season.

The Reds had to deal with Champions League heartbreak last season when Real Madrid defeated us but Klopp will try to rectify that. Klopp has done a lot for the club, and it would have been a lot to lose the German after all that he has done so far.

The German is possibly the best manager we have had in the Premier League era, and there is more to come from the team in the future.

It is great news that Klopp isn’t being swayed by a big European club like Juventus where titles are guaranteed.

Ditching a corporate job to follow a dream isn’t easy, but when football comes calling, who can say no? Been following the beautiful game since 1998. Liverpool addict, F1 fanatic!
