Liverpool FC transfer news: Liverpool interested in Athletic Bilbao attacker Inaki Williams
ESPN reports that Liverpool are interested in Athletic Bilbao attacker Inaki Williams.
The Spanish attacker scored 15 goals and provided four assists in all competitions for the La Liga side this season.
The 23-year-old can play as the central striker or as a winger, and the report adds that Williams has a release clause of €88m.

The source also told ESPN that one Premier League club contacted Bilbao in January over Williams while two are considering paying the €88m release clause in the summer window.
Williams hasn’t been able to break away at Bilbao
The 24-year-old is one of the brightest talents in La Liga yet he hasn’t been able to take the next step.
The Spaniard is inconsistent but has flashes of brilliance, which could be used well by Jurgen Klopp.
Williams has pace and strength to trouble the best defences in the world but still needs to work on his finishing and final product.
Spending €88m on a player that still needs a lot of polishing seems to be a little excessive even though Liverpool could do with another quality attacker in the team.

Signing Williams a couple of years ago would have been great, and it will be interesting to see if the Spaniard is on the move in the summer.
