Latest Liverpool news: Liverpool announce 23-man squad for Champions League final
Liverpool have finalised their 23-man squad for the Champions League final and there is one first-team player missing.
The Reds have included Roberto Firmino, who has recovered from an injury, but Naby Keita does not make it to Madrid where we face Tottenham.
Keita last played for us in the 3-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final first leg and the Guinea international travelled with the side to Marbella to continue his rehab.
Unfortunately, he isn’t fit for the final, and the Reds have one surprise inclusion in the team too.
Caoimhin Kelleher, the 20-year-old goalkeeper, has also been included in the team as he provides cover for Simon Mignolet and Alisson.
No other surprises in Liverpool’s team
The rest of the 23-man squad is as expected with Rhian Brewster also travelling with the side.
The youngster could get some minutes in the final, however, the major decision Jurgen Klopp has to make is who starts in the attack.
Roberto Firmino has recovered from his problem and is in the side while Divock Origi led the line well in the 4-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final second leg.
The defenders we have taken to the final are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Alberto Moreno and Andy Robertson.
Our midfield consists of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Adam Lallana, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Georginio Wijnaldum.

The attack, as expected, consists of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah while Origi, Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri making up the side.
