Liverpool FC transfer news: Bayern Munich are uninterested in move for Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane had a wonderful season as Liverpool won the Champions League for the sixth time.

The Reds defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the final on Saturday and narrowly missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City.

Mane shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 22 goals this season.

The 27-year-old’s form caught the eye of Bayern Munich, according to L’Equipe (h/t Liverpool Echo), but German reports suggest that the Bavarians will not move for Mane.

Bild (h/t Liverpool Echo) claim that a move for the 27-year-old is unlikely given the Senegal star’s current market value and contract situation with the Reds.

The report adds that Bayern were interested in Mane when he left RB Salzburg and Southampton, but the Bavarians did not make a move.

Mane an integral part of the team

This was the attacker’s best season for Liverpool as he racked up 26 goals in all competitions.

The Senegal international was instrumental in our Premier League campaign as we notched up 97 points and lost one game in the season.

Mane signed a new deal with the Reds recently, and it would take a crazy bid for the club to even think about letting him leave.
