Latest Liverpool news: Reds announce five more friendlies for upcoming pre-season

Liverpool have confirmed five further fixtures ahead of their upcoming pre-season.

The release

from the club confirmed that the Reds would face Tranmere Rovers on 11 July at Prenton Park.

Our next fixture would see a charity game against Bradford City on 14 July at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

The game is in support of former Liverpool defender Stephen Darby. Liverpool then travel to the United States before returning to face Napoli in Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield on 28 July.

Three days later we face Ligue 1 giants Lyon at the Stade de Geneve.

Our preparations then reach Anfield with our final game against Schalke on 6 August.

Liverpool prepare for another fantastic season

The Reds were exceptional in pre-season last time around as we lost only one game during that period.
