Liverpool FC transfer news: Lovren’s agents meet with AC Milan representatives

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren’s agents met up with AC Milan representatives in Milan to discuss a potential move, according to Milan News (h/t Liverpool Echo).

Paul Joyce of the Times also tweeted that Milan’s new sporting director is a fan of the Croatian defender.

The report claims that Lovren’s agents were at Casa Milan, the base of the Serie A giants, as they spoke over a transfer.

The 29-year-old centre-back struggled with injuries in the previous season, and the report claims that the Reds value Lovren at £25m.

Lovren only started 11 Premier League games for us last season and also made a couple of Champions League starts.

Liverpool need to make a big decision on Lovren

The Croatian has a great rapport with the other players in the team, though his injury record wasn’t great in the previous campaign.

The defender also saw his first-team place slip away thanks to the forms of Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.

Lovren has been a great servant of the club since joining from Southampton, and it will be interesting to see what decision the Reds take regarding the Croatian.
