Latest Liverpool news: Roberto Firmino scores another no-look goal in the Copa America
Roberto Firmino was one of the stars for Brazil in their 5-0 win over Peru.
The Liverpool striker had an unlucky outing against Venezuela as several goals were ruled out, however, he was at his best against the Peruvians.
Real Madrid’s Casemiro opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Firmino scored his goal in trademark fashion.
Everton, Dani Alves and Willian go the other goals in the win as Brazil seem to be one of the favourites for the Copa America.
Bobby scored another no-look goal
The Brazilian is known for his celebrations and no-look goals, and he did it against Peru too.
The 27-year-old is also known for his excellent work-rate and pressing, and a clearance from the Peru keeper was blocked off by Firmino.
The ball hit the crossbar and fell to the feet of the 27-year-old. Firmino calmly rounded the keeper before producing a no look finish.
Firmino scored a similar goal against Arsenal at Anfield last season, and a good Copa America could see the Brazilian get back to his best.
The former Hoffenheim man wasn’t scoring goals for fun last season, but still lifted the Champions League trophy with the Reds.
Brazil have a great chance of lifting the Copa America and it partly depends on Firmino doing well.
Many Liverpool fans weren’t surprised at the goal by the Brazilian, and here are some of their reactions from Twitter.
