Latest Liverpool news: Alisson set to become first keeper to win three Golden Gloves in one season
Alisson is set to win another Golden Glove this season once the Copa America final is done.
The Brazilian has kept five clean sheets in the competition and will win the Golden Glove irrespective of what happens in the final against Peru.
The former AS Roma keeper also won the Golden Glove in the Champions League and Premier League. The Daily Mail reports that the 26-year-old will become the first keeper to collect three Golden Gloves from one campaign.
Liverpool had the best defence in the Premier League, and Alisson was one of the stars for us.
The Brazilian also performed well in the Champions League as he kept Tottenham from scoring.
Alisson the difference for Liverpool in many games
The Reds struggled with keepers before the arrival of the Brazilian. Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius had their ups and downs, and the pair also made a few mistakes between the sticks.
Karius was partly at fault when we lost the Champions League final to Real Madrid a couple of seasons ago and was sent to Besiktas on a loan deal.
Alisson has kept us in several games and has produced some stunning saves too. The point-blank save in the Champions League game against Napoli and the one against Everton are the two that stand out.
