Liverpool FC transfer news: Ryan Kent wants a return to Rangers

Ryan Kent has returned to Liverpool after a great season at Rangers. The 22-year-old was sent on loan to the Scottish giants and flourished under former Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard.

The Daily Record claims that the English winger is Gerrard’s priority signing in the summer, and the legend knows he has to wait for Kent to possibly join.

Kent was named as the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year during his season with the Gers, and the 22-year-old wants a return to Ibrox.

The 22-year-old spoke in May and claimed he wants to win trophies at the Scottish giants (h/t Daily Record):

“I came up here to win trophies and that’s a department we’ve failed in this season.

“So it would be nice to come back and win silverware but I don’t have anything more to say on that at the moment.

“The size of the club brings out the best in me. I didn’t realise how huge it was until I came here.”

Klopp wants to see Kent in action

The report adds that it is to be seen if Rangers can nab Kent on another loan deal, however, Jurgen Klopp has a different plan for the Englishman.
