Latest Liverpool transfer news: Borussia Dortmund interested in Bobby Duncan

The Daily Mail reports that Borussia Dortmund are interested in Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan.

The English striker formed a great partnership alongside Paul Glatzel and featured in our 6-0 win over Tranmere on Thursday.

The cousin of Steven Gerrard, Duncan even got on the scoresheet against the lower league side with Jurgen Klopp confirming that young players would feature extensively in the pre-season games.

The report adds that several foreign clubs are interested in the 18-year-old, and Duncan has just two years left on his current deal.

Rival clubs are ready to pounce on the strker should he not be part of Klopp’s plans for next season, but scored 32 goals in all competitions for the academy in the previous campaign.

Liverpool also saw Rhian Brewster impress against Tranmere as the youngster scored twice in the 6-0 win.

Duncan has a bright future ahead of him, and it will be interesting to see if the forward is loaned out for proper first-team experience.

The Reds have been busy in the summer, and it seems that quality youngsters are on the agenda of our transfer team.

Sepp van den Berg was signed from PEC Zwolle ealrier in the window, and the 17-year-old should feature for the first-team soon.
