Liverpool FC transfer news: Simon Mignolet wants to leave for more first-team football
The Evening Standard reports that sources close to Simon Mignolet have told that the Belgian wants a move this summer for more regular football.
The 31-year-old only played a couple of domestic cup games for Liverpool last season but was a great part of the team providing cover and competition to Alisson.
The Brazilian won the Golden Glove in two competitions for Liverpool last season and helped us win the Champions League too.
Alisson continued his form for Brazil in the summer, winning the Copa America and the Golden Glove in that competition.
The report adds that Mignolet’s team know the valuation that Liverpool are looking for to start talks about a move away.
Liverpool do not want to share the valuation in public, and the report claims that the Reds aren’t keen on selling the keeper.

The Belgian might not be on the same level as Alisson, but he is one of the most professional players in the world.
It is understandable that Mignolet wants to start more games and a move away from the Reds would facilitate that.
