The release adds that the youngster has an elbow ligament strain and is likely to miss the remainder of the pre-season campaign. Jaros will not feature in our trip to the US, and the games against Napoli and Lyon.

The youngster was a part of the U18 side that won the FA Youth Cup last season and is the second keeper to pick up an injury this campaign.

Caoimhin Kelleher is also out with a problem, and that leaves just Simon Mignolet in the side for the pre-season clashes.

Liverpool lose a striker as well

Jurgen Klopp also confirmed that Paul Glatzel would be out of action for a while after picking up a knee injury.

The young striker played in the game against Tranmere but had to come off after twisting his knee.

The German was excellent alongside Bobby Duncan in the previous campaign, and this would be a major blow to his plans of breaking into the first-team this season.
