Liverpool FC transfer news: Lille reject offer from Man United for Pepe
Yahoo Sport France (h/t Mirror) reports that Manchester United’s bid for Nicolas Pepe has been rejected by Lille.
The Ivorian winger has been linked with the Red Devils, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton and Paris Saint-Germain with the Ligue 1 club wanting £70m (h/t Mirror).
The winger had an excellent Ligue 1 campaign last season, scoring 22 goals and providing 11 assists.
The 24-year-old also played in the Africa Cup of Nations, but could not help the Ivorians lift the title.

The Ivorian is also a target for Napoli, with Carlo Ancelotti keen on the winger, and discussions are on (h/t Mirror).
Lille president Gerard Lopez conceded this week that Pepe’s deal was almost done, according to the report.
Pepe is one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment, and it will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming weeks.
The report adds that it is unclear how much United had offered for the Ivorian, but Lille were uninterested in the bid.
