Latest Liverpool news: Adrian meets Salah as first set of photos are released
Former West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian became the latest star to join Liverpool.
The 32-year-old was a quick signing given that we allowed Simon Mignolet to leave on Monday afternoon.
The Belgian joined Club Brugge after spending six years at Anfield. Mignolet started his career as the first-choice keeper under Brendan Rodgers but slipped down after the arrival of Loris Karius and Alisson.
Mignolet was a fantastic professional for the Reds but he needs to play regular games.
Adrian, for his part, also fell down the pecking order, with Lukasz Fabianski taking over at West Ham, but the deal is a smart one given that the Spaniard is a free agent.
All smiles at Liverpool
The 32-year-old is still a quality keeper and is an excellent No.2 to have in the side.
The Spaniard took several snaps while signing his contract and was also pictured in front of the “Champions Wall”.
Liverpool added another milestone to that wall by winning their sixth Champions League title, and there should be more silverware to come too.
The Reds also shared a picture of Adrian meeting with Mohamed Salah, and we should see the Spaniard on the bench for our Premier League opener against Norwich City.

Adrian should also play some of our cup games and hopefully, he puts up some great performances for the Reds in the coming seasons.
