Liverpool FC transfer news: Wilson could be on his way to Bournemouth

Dominic King of the Daily Mail claimed that Harry Wilson is a target for Bournemouth. The Cherries have lost David Brooks for three months and are looking for a replacement.

King tweeted that Liverpool are open to loaning out Wilson, and talks are in place between the clubs for the Welshman.

The Reds are not looking to sell Wilson at the moment and want guarantees regarding his playing time at the Vitality.

Fans split regarding a possible move

Wilson was one of the impressive performers for Liverpool during the pre-season and it is a bit of a surprise that the Reds could allow a loan deal now.

The Welshman could have been a backup for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, however, he would not start regularly at Anfield this season.

A loan move to a Premier League club could be excellent for his development, and it will be interesting to see how he does under Eddie Howe.

Bournemouth have signed several Liverpool players in recent years like Jordon Ibe, Brad Smith and Dominic Solanke, but none of them has turned out to be great for the Cherries.

Wilson was one of the best players in the Championship last season and a step up to the Premier League will be a real test for the 22-year-old.

However, some Liverpool fans were split regarding the move taking place. Some backed the deal as Wilson would gain valuable experience, while others wanted him to stay or leave permanently.
