Liverpool are moving swiftly to find a replacement for Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian joined Club Brugge on Sunday, and the Telegraph reports that the Reds are finalising a deal to sign Adrian.
The 32-year-old Adrian left West Ham after six years at the club and is a free agent. Mignolet had struggled for games at Anfield since the arrival of Klopp.
The Belgian first faced competition from Loris Karius and then saw Alisson take over the starting spot in between the sticks.
Mignolet did feature in most of our games during pre-season but was on the bench in the Community Shield defeat.
A good option from Liverpool
Although Adrian’s spot in the West Ham team was taken up by Lukasz Fabianski, the Spaniard was a decent keeper for the Hammers. The tipsters rate the Spaniard to have a successfull season with the European Champions if Klopp manages his time at the club properly. With a good season behind him, check out the odds here to get a proper understanding on the player before placing your bets on the player. With 2/5 odds of Liverpool lifting the Premier League this season, Adrian’s best chance to earn a limelight in his career would be at Anfield.
Adrian might only get to play some of the cup games, and the report claims that the Spaniard could not have “imagined the opportunity” that would arise at Anfield over the summer.
The 32-year-old needs to be singed quickly if he is to be on the bench against Norwich City. Liverpool’s Premier League opener is on Friday and the summer transfer window ends a day earlier.

The Reds haven’t spent big this summer and Adrian would be a smart and cheap signing. Hopefully, the Spaniard provides great cover for Alisson and is a valuable member of the side.
