Latest Liverpool news: Klopp sends WhatsApp message to Wilson after Bournemouth goal
Harry Wilson had a great outing for Bournemouth as he scored in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
The Welsh youngster scored a trademark goal from outside the box, though it took a slight deflection before going into the net.
Wilson was fantastic for Derby County last season, and this should be a real test for the 22-year-old winger.
The 22-year-old needs to have a great season for the Cherries in order to ensure a future at Liverpool, and Telegraph reports that Jurgen Klopp sent a WhatsApp message to Wilson just an hour after the final whistle.
The report claims that the manager sent the winger a selfie of himself with a congratulatory message.
Wilson has to keep performing well at Bournemouth
Klopp has a history of handing chances to youngsters in the Liverpool team and Wilson needs to keep playing at this level.
The 22-year-old will face sterner tests this season and hopefully, he does a great job under Eddie Howe.
Wilson could be a great cover for our wide players next season, and we don’t have natural wide players in the first-team squad apart from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri.
