Latest Liverpool news: Salah is happy at Liverpool despite Neville claiming that the Egyptian could leave
Mohamed Salah has spoken about his love for Liverpool Football Club and the city despite Gary Neville taking a dig at the Egyptian last week. The Liverpool Echo reports that the former Manchester United defender claimed that Salah would leave the Reds.
The Egyptian has become one of the best in the world since his move from AS Roma and has won the Golden Boot in the past two seasons at the Reds.
Salah also helped us win the Champions League last season and scored in the final against Tottenham. The forward has started this season on fire too and looked good in the 2-1 win over Southampton.
The Egyptian was speaking to Becky Anderson of CNN in an exclusive interview and claimed he was happy with the fans too (h/t Liverpool Echo):
“I’m happy at Liverpool. I’m happy in the city – I love the fans and they love me. I’m happy at the club.”
Salah to lead Liverpool to more glory?
Liverpool are one of the best clubs in the world now, thanks to the hard work put in by Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff.
Our signings have been top-notch too and there really is no reason for Salah to leave Anfield at the moment.
The Champions League win was no fluke as we had an incredible season last time around, and there is no doubt that there more is to come under Klopp. Salah has been excellent in the two seasons at Anfield, and he should help us win more trophies in the coming years.

There will be efforts to pry him away from Liverpool, but the Reds have grown immensely under Klopp and there is no reason for the fans to worry.
