Liverpool FC transfer news: Fiorentina interested in signing Duncan

The Daily Mail reports that Fiorentina are interested in Bobby Duncan.

The youngster featured in our pre-season this season and the report claims that the Italians want to sign the 18-year-old for the rest of the campaign.

Duncan scored 32 goals for the Reds last season and helped us win the Youth FA Cup in the previous campaign.

It is unlikely that he will feature for the first-team under Jurgen Klopp this season, and the report claims that the youngster wants to join the Italians as he is unsure about first-team chances at Liverpool.

The youngster is Steven Gerrard’s cousin and is one of the brightest talents coming through our ranks.

The right move is important for Duncan

The report adds that Nordsjaelland are also interested in the youngster but sending him to the Danish league might not be the best decision.

The youngster has to try his luck in a top league and a move to the Serie A could be great for his development.

Duncan has to play some first-team games, and it will be interesting to see if he is allowed to leave before the closure of the European transfer window.
