Liverpool FC transfer news: Barcelona interested in Alexander-Arnold

Don Balon (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that Barcelona are interested in Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Liverpool right-back played a role in our win over Arsenal at the weekend, and the report adds that the Catalans are eyeing the Englishman as an alternative to former player Neymar.

Barca are keen on landing Neymar, according to the report, but could move for Trent as an alternative.

The 20-year-old is one of the best right-backs in the world, and there is no way we should look to sell the Englishman.

Trent would know about Coutinho’s fate at Barcelona

The Catalan giants are known for picking up some of the best in the world, and it shouldn’t be a surprise that another Liverpool star is being targetted.

However, Trent would know what happened to Philippe Coutinho after the Brazilian joined Barcelona from the Reds.

Coutinho’s form dipped drastically and is now on loan at Bayern Munich. There is also no reason for Trent to leave the Reds given his position in the team.

Liverpool are one of the best teams in the world and look set to win several trophies under Jurgen Klopp.
