Latest Liverpool news: Alisson wins UEFA’s goalkeeper of the season
Alisson had a debut season to remember at Liverpool as he helped us win the Champions League.
The Brazilian signed from Roma and also won the Golden Glove in the Premier League and the Champions League.
The 26-year-old is one of the best in the world and continued his great form for Brazil. Alisson landed the Copa America in the summer and also won the Golden Glove in that competition.
Alisson hasn’t featured for us since the opening day of the season against Norwich.
The Brazilian picked up a calf injury and has seen Adrian take over the goalkeeping duties. However, the 26-year-old was present at the Champions League draw where he was adjudged as UEFA’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the 2018/19 season.

The Brazilian made some crucial saves in the Champions League, such as the one against Napoli in our final group game last season. The 26-year-old is great with the ball at his feet and provides us with more authority at the back.
It is a bit of a blow to not have him in the team now and hopefully, Alisson returns to action quickly. Adrian has done a decent job so far, but the Spaniard seems to make some silly decisions when having to use his feet.
