Liverpool FC transfer news: Klopp hints at keeping Lovren beyond transfer window
Dejan Lovren has been linked with a move away from Liverpool all summer, despite the Reds not investing in another senior centre-back.

Lovren has attracted interest from the Serie A (h/t Calciomercato) but Jurgen Klopp recently hinted that he wants to keep all his centre-backs.
The German was speaking at a press conference and James Pearce of the Athletic tweeted his quotes regarding the defence.
The manager also provided an update on Lovren and shared an incident from last season where we had to play Fabinho in the back four.
Lovren needs to stay at the club
Liverpool cannot compete on all fronts with just three senior centre-backs, and we have had injury problems in recent seasons.
Lovren has had fitness concerns in the past two years, however, he is one of the most experienced defenders in the Premier League.
The Croatian isn’t first-choice any more but he should play a part when the domestic cup games start.
The 30-year-old has always given his it all when playing for the Reds, and it will be interesting to see when he features for us.
