Latest Liverpool news: Reds create history by winning 13 Premier League games in a row

Liverpool made light work of Burnley at Turf Moor and won the clash 3-0.

The Reds were seeking a fourth straight Premier League win since the start of the season and kept their 100% winning record thanks to an impressive performance.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross was deflected into the net before Sadio Mane made it 2-0 before half-time.

Roberto Firmino got the third to wrap up the points and keep us two clear of Manchester City at the top.

The Reds continued their winning run from the previous campaign, and have now picked up 13 straight Premier League wins.

Liverpool have achieved this feat for the first time ever and also kept up their scoring record too.

Liverpool need to keep winning after the international break

The Reds now have a couple of weeks before they return to action with a clash against Newcastle.

We need to keep winning games to keep City behind us and after the Newcastle clash, we face Napoli (Champions League) and Chelsea, both of them being away games.

City also look relentless at the moment but we didn’t break a sweat against the Clarets. Burnley is one of the toughest places to visit but we looked extremely mature in the win.

Hopefully, we can keep this streak going for a long time and can celebrate more silverware at the end of the campaign.
