Latest Liverpool news: Mane loses his cool after being subbed against Burnley

There weren’t any major problems for Liverpool against a tough Burnley clash on Saturday.

Three unanswered goals and a dominant performance kept us at the top of the league and extended our winning start to the campaign.

Our front three were great as a unit but there were some iffy moments from Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian failed to score in the win, however, he did have a couple of chances to pass the ball to either Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

On two occasions, Salah decided to have a shot and failed to beat the Burnley keeper.

Mane leaves in a huff

Jurgen Klopp also lost his cool when Salah messed up the two chances, but it was Mane who was replaced by the German.

The Senegal international looked irate as he gestured to the bench and was not happy at all.

Klopp played down the incident in the post-match interview and claimed that this would be taken care off in the dressing room.

Mane did have a point regarding Salah’s selfishness. The game was all done when the Egyptian started taking shots on goal but such decisions could hurt us in big clashes later on in the campaign.

It is difficult to blame Salah for being too greedy given his incredible scoring record since joining Liverpool from AS Roma.

Many Liverpool fans shared their thoughts regarding the incident while some came up with hilarious tweets about the attacking pair.
