Latest Liverpool news: Adrian to receive extensive training during international break
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool will put Adrian through intense training sessions during the international break to get him up to speed.
The Spaniard has done well since replacing the injured Alisson and kept his first clean sheet of the season after the 3-0 win over Burnley.
Adrian put up a great performance at Turf Moor and dealt with everything that Burnley threw at him.
His footwork also improved after a tough game at Southampton and the report claims that the keeper will work with John Achterberg rather than having some time off during the break.
Liverpool aren’t concerned about his shot-stopping ability or how he deals with the physical nature of some teams, and the drills will mostly be related to what he does with the ball at his feet (h/t Daily Mail).
The report adds that Adrian trained with rugby pads for the Burnley clash and hopefully, he improves his work with the ball when we face Newcastle once the international break is done.
Liverpool need Adrian to be at his best
It is to be seen when Alisson returns from his calf problem and we need Adrian to be at his best in the coming weeks.
Liverpool face Napoli and Chelsea once the Newcastle clash is done, and the goalkeeper is an important outlet for the team.

The centre-backs need the keeper to be comfortable once the ball is played back to him, and that is the only part of the game which Adrian has to work on.
