Liverpool FC transfer news: Kent seals permanent move to Rangers
Liverpool didn’t buy too many stars in the summer but they were busy in selling several players.
Even on the final day of the European transfer window, there were some exits, with Ryan Kent completing his move to Rangers.
The winger spent last season on loan at the Glasgow giants and Jurgen Klopp admitted that it was time for Kent to leave permanently.
Kent did a great job under Steven Gerrard last season and it is likely he will grow under our former captain at Ibrox.
Fans wish Kent the best
The youngster featured for the club during the pre-season and was one of our better performers.
However, it was difficult to see him play regularly for the first-team at all, and he would have struggled to even make it to the bench on most days.
Selling him now makes a lot of sense and a move to familiar surroundings was the best option for his exit. The Reds have a couple of youngsters who could play out wide in the coming years, with Harry Wilson starring at Bournemouth this season.
Harvey Elliott could also come good if he keeps progressing well after joining in the summer. Kent might not have been able to make it at Anfield but many of our fans wished him well for the next chapter in his career.
