Liverpool to invest £16million in technologies to improve fan experience
Liverpool CEO Peter Moore outlined a massive investment from the club over a period of three years to enhance the fan experience.
The Champions League holders have been incredible under Jurgen Klopp and have started this campaign well with four consecutive wins in the Premier League.
Moore was speaking at the launch of Brand Liverpool on Wednesday and confirmed an investment of £16million (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Business Cloud (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that 150 representatives from the public and private sectors were present during Moore’s speech about the plans.
“You can’t reach out to 771 million people without technology.
“We’re investing £16m over the next three years in rebuilding all our mobile offerings, our web offerings, global billing systems, customer service – all so we can try and talk and add value to these fans’ experiences.
“People come for the football but they stay for the city.”
The CEO added that the Reds are located in the middle of the city and more than 800 people work for the club.
Liverpool have done a lot in recent years
The extension of Anfield’s capacity was a big move to allow more fans into the ground and hopefully, the Reds share more plans regarding this new investment soon.
The Reds have also announced several tie-ups with big brands and one of the newest ones was with EA ahead of the launch of FIFA 20.
