Juventus also interested in Liverpool-linked goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir
Turkish outlet Gunes (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Juventus have joined the race for 23-year-old goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
The Trabzonspor keeper has been great for the Turkish side in recent years and has been linked with Liverpool for a while, according to the report.
Liverpool had to make some quick moves in the summer to land Adrian and Andy Lonergan as cover for Alisson.
Simon Mignolet left to join Club Brugge for more regular football while Loris Karius struggled after joining the Reds from Mainz.
The German keeper is out on a two-year loan spell at Besiktas, and it is unlikely he will return after his deal is completed.
Liverpool to move in the winter window
The report adds that Liverpool could move for the Turkish international in the January window.
That would be an interesting move from the Reds given that we have several quality youngsters in the team.
Cakir, however, could be a fantastic cover for Alisson but he is a regular at Trabzonspor and playing second fiddle to the Brazilian might not work out for him.
The Reds have seen Adrian do well since making his debut on the opening day of the season, while Alisson is still recovering from a calf injury picked up against Norwich City.

Hopefully, the Brazilian returns to action soon and Adrian can keep doing the good work between the sticks.
