Liverpool fans react as Norwich City stun Manchester City 3-2

Norwich City produced one of the shocks of the Premier League season as they defeated Manchester City at Carrow Road 3-2.

The Cityzens were below par and made several defensive errors as Daniel Farke’s men were relentless.

Kenny McLean and Todd Cantwell had given the Canaries a deserved 2-0 lead before Sergio Aguero cut the deficit in half just before the break.

City should have gone on the score more goals in the second half but a major mistake at the back allowed Teemu Pukki to score.

Rodri did pull one goal back in the 88th minute but Norwich held on for a huge victory.

Liverpool open the gap up to City

Manchester City beat Liverpool to the Premier League title last season by one point, and this loss at the hands of the Canaries could be huge in the race, even though both teams have only played five games.

Liverpool also had to overcome going a goal down against a decent Newcastle side but Sadio Mane scored a brace while Mohamed Salah got the other goal in our 3-1 win.

The Reds looked good after half an hour against the Magpies, and hopefully, we can take advantage of City’s problems at the back.

Liverpool already have fivepoint lead at the top of the table and remain the only side with a 100% winning record.

Pep Guardiola also sarcastically claimed that Liverpool had won the league after his team’s loss, and several Liverpool fans reacted to the comments made and the result last evening.
