Sadio Mane claims Burnley problems with Mohamed Salah are a thing of the past
Sadio Mane scored two goals while Mohamed Salah got one in our 3-1 win Newcastle United.
The Liverpool forwards were in great form against the Magpies and were in great sync throughout the game.
Mane, Salah and Roberto Firmino were passing the ball around to each other, and there were no tensions between the three stars.
The Senegal forward was angry at being substituted in our 3-0 win over Burnley before the international break, and that was partly due to Salah not passing to an open man in the game.
Mane, however, told Canal+ (h/t Mirror) that the issues with Salah were forgotten and the pair are great friends:
“With Salah? It’s forgotten.
“These are things that happen in football. Sometimes you have to say things face to face.
“Sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass.
“But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before.”
Liverpool’s attack back to their best
There were no real doubts that we would score even though Newcastle had found the back of the net first on Saturday.
Mane and Salah looked great but the star of the show was Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian’s link-up play with the wingers was something to behold, and hopefully, our attack keeps playing at this level throughout the season.
Mane and Salah are hungry for goals all the time, and it wasn’t a major surprise that the two have buried the hatchet.

The pair were our top scorers in the previous campaign, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top this season.
