Chelsea handed triple injury boost ahead of massive Liverpool clash

The Liverpool Echo reports that Chelsea could see the return of three players ahead of their clash against the Premier League leaders.

Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge for a huge game on Sunday after having lost 2-0 to Napoli in the Champions League.

The Reds have won all five of their Premier League games this season while the Blues have looked impressive in patches under Frank Lampard.

The new manager has handed opportunities to youth players, however, N’Golo Kante was back in training on Thursday.

The Liverpool Echo adds that the Frenchman didn’t feature in the previous four games for the Blues, while Emerson is also back in training after picking up an injury for Italy.

The pair should slot into the starting XI if they regain their fitness, and the Blues could see the return of an attacker too.

Hudson-Odoi ready to go

Callum Hudson-Odoi is a quality winger who Chelsea haven’t seen much this season.

The Englishman claimed he was ready to play after recovering from an Achilles problem, and the report claims he could feature in the game on Sunday.

Liverpool need to be wary of the threat possessed by the Blues, but they have some injury concerns too. Antonio Rudiger and Mason Mount picked up problems in the loss against Valencia while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is out until November.
