Kai Havertz will cost £90million as Manchester United enter the race
The Express claims that Manchester United have entered the race to sign Kai Havertz, who will cost £90million.
The German is one of the leading talents in the Bundesliga and scored 20 goals in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season.
The 20-year-old can play in several attacking positions and has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Liverpool are keen on the 20-year-old, according to the Express, but so are the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona.
Leverkusen looking to sell
The report claims that Havertz is contracted for another three years and they are open to selling the star while he has great value.
The Reds haven’t spent big this summer and it will be interesting to see if we make a serious offer for the talent.
The 20-year-old could play anywhere in our attack while he can play just behind the front three to provide us with more creativity in the park.
The £90million price-tag might seem a little steep but Havertz is an exceptional talent, and we broke a couple of transfer records while landing Alisson and Virgil van Dijk.
