Liverpool fans relieved as Reds hold on for 2-1 win over Chelsea
Liverpool made it six wins from six Premier League games this season as they beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds started with their strongest possible squad and took the lead via Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The English youngster smashed from a free-kick after Mohamed Salah rolled the ball. Klopp’s men were controlling the game but were lucky to have a Chelsea goal ruled out for offside.

Andy Robertson then delivered from a free-kick with Roberto Firmino giving us a 2-0 lead via a header. We were great going into half-time and should have killed the tie in the second, however, Chelsea game roaring back.
Second half struggles for Liverpool
The Reds had chances to score a third but backed off in the later minutes. N’Golo Kante took advantage as he beat four men to score past Adrian, and there were other chances for Mason Mount and Michy Batshuayi too.
We were holding on as the minutes ticked by and the trip to Napoli seemed to have taken a toll.
However, the Reds continued their march at the top of the table and are five points clear of Manchester City.
Our next game is against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup where we should rest some players.
Many fans were pleased with the win at the Bridge, however, they were relieved after Chelsea piled on the pressure in the second half.
