Liverpool keeping tabs on PSV starlet Donyell Malen
Donyell Malen has been one of the breakout stars from the Dutch league this season and the PSV Eindhoven youngster recently scored five goals against Vitesse recently.
The 20-year-old forward is also a regular for the Dutch national team and scored in the 4-2 win over Germany during the previous international break.
Malen seems set for a bright future and Calciomercato (h/t BBC) claims that Liverpool are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old.
The Dutch forward has the experience of playing in England as he was a part of Arsenal’s youth team before being sold to PSV in 2017.
Liverpool have a quality Dutch contingent already
The Reds have a couple of world-class Dutch stars in the team and it will be interesting to see how our interest in Malen grows in the coming months.
Virgil van Dijk is arguably the best centre-back in the world while Georginio Wijnaldum has done well in recent years for club and country.
Liverpool also have Dutch youngsters Sepp van den Berg and Ki-Jana Hoever trying to break into the first-team.
The trio has played together during the previous international break but the Reds have one starlet who could do the job in the attack.
