Liverpool fans are unimpressed after Bobby Duncan scores for Fiorentina U19s

Liverpool’s quiet summer went completely crazy during the final days of the transfer window.

The Reds didn’t make any major signings as they consolidated their Champions League win by tying several players to new deals.

Liverpool did bring in a couple of young players and moved for experienced keepers, but were unable to keep hold of Bobby Duncan.

The 18-year-old featured during the pre-season for the Reds but his agent Saif Rubie went on a tirade against the club and Michael Edwards.

Rubie’s outburst even targeted Jamie Carragher later on, and it was no surprise that Duncan was allowed to join Fiorentina.

The agent had claimed that Duncan was promised first-team football for the Reds and was expected to leave the club on loan for more experience, however, the move was made permanent to the Serie A side.

Duncan scores a fantastic goal for his side

The 18-year-old bagged a wonderful goal for Fiorentina recently and shared a clipping from the game against AS Roma.

However, many supporters found out that this game was for the U19s and not for the senior side.

La Viola’s senior side beat AC Milan during the weekend and the U19s beat Roma 3-0.

Duncan might have scored a fantastic goal, but he has moved down a notch as he featured for reserve side for the Reds.

The youngster could have also been in the squad for some of the Carabao Cup games this season, and many Liverpool fans highlighted that things haven’t gone as planned for Duncan.
