Liverpool interested in RB Salzburg’s Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland has been impressive at RB Salzburg since joining them last season.
The 19-year-old bagged nine goals during the U20 World Cup and has carried that form for his club too.
The youngster has 15 goals for Salzburg this season from just 10 games in the Champions League and Austrian league.
The forward is one of the brightest talents in the world and Liverpool are interested in the forward (h/t Calciomercato).
Haaland came off the bench to score against the Reds in the Champions League clash recently. However, he was unable to stop Liverpool from winning the game 4-3.
The youngster even scored a hat-trick on his Champions League debut against Genk this season.
There is a lot of interest from other clubs too, with Tottenham, Juventus and Manchester United keen on the teenager (h/t Calciomercato).
Liverpool have some quality youngsters on the books
Haaland wouldn’t start regular games for us if he joins us, given the quality of our front three, however, he could do a decent job off the bench.
Liverpool have decent options now, with Divock Origi becoming our super-sub of sorts. The Belgian came off the bench to help us win against Leicester City, and has been in great touch since last season.
Rhian Brewster is another player waiting in the wings to feature in the Premier League while Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones both impressed in the Carabao Cup win over MK Dons.
