Jurgen Klopp unsure about taking up international role
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is one of the best in the world and proved that by winning the Champions League last season.
The German has turned things around for us but has been linked with the Germany job once Joachim Low leaves (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Low’s contract expires in 2022, the same year Klopp’s does at Liverpool, and our manager has suggested at taking a break after his current deal ends (h/t Liverpool Echo).
However, the German isn’t sure about taking up the international offer but would think about it and told Magenta TV (h/t Liverpool Echo):
“I really can not say. I do not know if I would like to. Now, as of today, I do not feel like it.
“Stand up now, I’m totally happy with what I do and that’s important in the whole story.
“I also could not say one hundred percent if I was the right one [to replace Low]. If the question ever arises, I would think about it – but not now.”
The 2022 World Cup is scheduled to take place in December, which would provide Klopp a break in the summer, and he could take up the job.
Reds need to keep hold of Klopp
The German has always left teams after seven years, and 2022 would be his seventh in charge for the Reds.
Liverpool
We have featured in three European finals and just missed out on the Premier League last season. However, we seem stronger than ever as we try to land the league title this time around.

The Germany job will always be attractive for a top manager, but it would be great if Klopp decides to stay at Liverpool beyond 2022.
