Liverpool willing to pay £20m for Brighton’s Ben White
Ben White has been impressive at Leeds United this season. The 22-year-old centre-back has played in 11 Championship games as Marcelo Bielsa’s side try to seal promotion.
The English centre-back is on loan from Brighton and Argus (h/t Express) claims that Liverpool are willing to pay £20m for his services.

The 21-year-old is capable of playing at right-back too and could make a great addition to the Liverpool team.
A replacement for Lovren?
The report claims that the Reds are still eyeing the sale of Dejan Lovren. The Croatian remained at Liverpool during the summer and got a start in our 2-1 win over Leicester City.
However, Liverpool value the 30-year-old at £26m and could reinvest that amount in trying to sign White (h/t Express).
Liverpool’s transfer dealings in the summer saw us land two players with immense potential. Joe Gomez has done a decent job in recent years, but it is always great to have competition for places.
Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk are the first-choice centre-backs while Sepp van den Berg also has a bright future at Anfield.
